Christine "Toy" Boren of Lebanon, Mo passed away Sunday, March 23, 2003. She was 90 years old.

Mrs. Boren was born on Jan. 31, 1913 in Boone County, Miss. She lived in the Jonesboro area several years during the late 1940's and 1950's. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief. Her husband, Henry Talmedge Boren, one son, James Andrew Boren, four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Boren is survived by five sons, Talmedge "Pete" Boren, Henry Boren and Leslie Boren all of Lebanon, Mo., Louis Boren of Crown Point, Ind., and William Boren of Sleeper, Mo.; four daughters, Betty Burrow and Audrey Conway both of Richland, Mo., Dorothy Boren of Lebanon, Mo., and Laura Boyles of Pensacola, Fla.; one brother, Glen Muse of Trumann; 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Boren were held graveside Wed., March 26 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mike Conway, Vince Bowen, Steve Bowen, Donnie Sims, Mike Boren and Dean Bradley.
