Lee Matthew Dye, Jr., passed away April 15, 2003, due to injuries received in an auto accident. He was six years old.

Lee Matthew Dye, Jr., was born on April 20, 1996, in Rockford, Ill., and had lived in Trumann for the past two years. He was a kindergarten student at Central Park Elementary School.

Lee is survived by his father, Lee Matthew Dye, Sr. of the home; his mother, Misty Erickson of Akron, Ohio; two sisters, Samantha Dye of Trumann and Aubrey Gear of Rockford, Ill.; two brothers, Logan Erickson and Christian Erickson of Akron, Ohio; paternal grandparents, Henry and Betty Dye of Rockford, Ill.; maternal grandfather, Brian Erickson of Akron, Ohio; maternal grandmother, Vickie Smith of Akron, Ohio; and maternal great-grandmother, JoAnn Finch of Akron, Ohio.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the First Assembly of God in Trumann with Rev. Kenneth Doke officiating.

Pallbearers were Henry Dye, Donny Dye, Tommy Dye and Patrick Byerly.
