Mae Shelton, 86, of Trumann died Monday, May 5, 2003, at the Lakeside nursing home in Lake City.

She was born in Missouri on Jan. 20, 1917. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by one son, Floyd Cato and was the widow of Richard Shelton.

She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Waterford of Trumann and Linda Adams of Springdale; one son, Sylvester Cato of Trumann; one brother, Otis Brown of White Cloud, Mich.; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were Tuesday, May 6, at Potter Memorial Cemetery. Ervin Stout and Lloyd Rhoads officiated the ceremony. Pallbearers were Phillip Stout, Eddie Stout, Gary Stout, Chris Turner and Brad Dye.
