Loda Hollihan

Loda Beatric Hollihan, 83, of Bay, died May 7, 2003, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro of natural causes.

She was born in Trumann and had lived most of her lifetime in the Bay and Truman area. She was a housewife and a member of the Viva Drive Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. Hollihan in 1994, one great-grandson, one sister, two brothers and was the daughter of the late William T. and Ollie Watkins Fain.

She is survived by four sons, Dalton Ray Hollihan of Alexander, Lloyd H. Hollihan of Columbus, Ind., Jerry E. Hollihan of Trumann and Dennis M. Hollihan of Bay; one sister, Muriel Smith of Jackson, Miss.; one brother, David Fain of Florida; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral was May 10 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Joe Spangler and Bill Willard officiating. Place of burial was at Herman Cemetery in Jonesboro. Pallbearers were James Evans, Calvin Rutherford, Bill Gibbs, Jason Hollihan, Larry Madden and Dr. Kemp Childs.
