Arlen Eugene Vaden, 73, of Trumann, died May 10, 2003, at the VA Medical Center in Memphis of natural causes.

He was born and was a lifetime resident of Trumann and was formerly of St. Louis, Mo. He owned and operated Jan's Video, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers and was the son of the late William Everett and Lena Eva Turrintine Vaden.

He is survived by one sister, Betty Ballard of Trumann and one brother, Aaron Vaden of Jonesboro.

Graveside service was May 13 at the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Nathan Russell and the Rev. Russell Hamm officiating. Pallbearers were Gary Wilkins, Bobby Trammell, Ricky Ballard, Gary Goodwin, Carl Holt and Scott and Jerry Brown.
