Mr. James Nelson Young of Bay died Saturday, May 24, 2003, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark., of natural causes. He was 42 years old.

Mr. Young was born in Jonesboro, Ark., and had lived most of his lifetime in the Bay and Trumann area and was a member of the Highway Valley Pentecostal Church. He was preceded in death by his father, James Herman "Jack" Young; two sisters, Charlotte and Barbara Young and one brother, Timothy Young.

Mr. Young is survived by his mother, Mrs. Inez Harper Young of Bay; six sisters, Mrs. Betty Phelps of Shevlin, Minn., Mrs. Mary Hanna, Mrs. Susie Carter and Mrs. Frances Frazier of Trumann, Mrs. Shirley Rorex and Mrs. Doris Golden of Bay; and one brother Jimmy Ledbetter of McMinnville, Tenn.

Funeral services for Mr. Young were held Wednesday afternoon in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Lloyd Rhoads officiating. The burial followed at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Pallbearers were Michael Calhoun, Steven Dever, Joe Eaton, Danny Floyd, Jason Wilson and Jeremy Wilson.
