Mrs. Walker was born in and was a lifetime resident of Trumann. She was a housewife, 1946 graduate of Trumann High School, charter member of the Trumann Alumni Association, past president of the Trumann Poinsettia Club and member of the First Baptist Church of Trumann. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Henry Busby in 1957 and her second husband, Willard Edward Walker in 1996, one brother, Richard Easter and was the daughter of Mrs. Ruby Hughes Easter and the late Jess Easter.
Mrs. Walker is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Sandi Martin of Memphis, Tenn.; son, Dr. Micky Busby of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; mother, Mrs. Ruby Easter of Trumann; brother, Chester "Check" Easter of Trumann; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, July18, at the First Baptist Church in Truman with Rev. Jamison May officiating. The burial followed at Jonesboro Memorial Park in Jonesboro.
Active pallbearers were K.W. Webb, Ralph Davis, J.T. Allen, Glen Anderson, Clyde Robertson, Jr., and Bill Cook. Honorary pallbearers were the members of the Bethany Sunday School class and the Adult Men's Sunday School class of First Baptist Church in Trumann.
