Mr. Teague was born in Bay and had lived in Mountain View for the past 11
years and was formerly of Kansas City, Mo. He was a retired owner and
operator of Teague's Heating and Air Conditioning Service, veteran of the US
Army and Air Force and served in the Vietnam War.
He was a musician and guitarist with his own rock band for 20 years in the
50's and 60's. He was a member of the Musicians Union of Myrtle Beach, South
Carolina and a member of the Church of Christ in Mountain View.
He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Wayne Teague; his parents, Roy
and Helen Caldwell Teague and one nephew, Steven Paul Tolbert.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Teague of the home; one sister, Dolores
Tolbert of Trumann and one brother, Jackie Teague of Bay.
Visitation was Thursday, July 24 at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
Funeral services were Friday, July 25 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home
with Ronnie Benson and Nolan Glover officiating.
Active pallbearers were Jimmy Bishop, Carl Whitt, Lepoe Wise, Roy Whitehead,
David Ashlock and Fred Qualls. Honorary pallbearers were Tim Donohoo and
C.W. Knight.
