Barbara Ann Medley

Mrs. Barbara Ann "Bobbie" Medley of Trumann, passed away July 27, 2003, at the family residence of natural causes. She was 69 years old.

Mrs. Medley was born in Athens, Ala., and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a housewife and a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Tulot, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, Foster L. and Mable Vickers Miller.

Mrs. Medley is survived by her husband, Billy Ray Medley of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Pamela R. "Pam" Dahlquist of San Antonio, Texas, and Mrs. Tammy Collier of Lake City, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Linda Vesta Aker of Tulot, Ark.; one brother, Ronnie "Skipper" Miller of Hondo, Texas; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 30, 2003, in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Paul Peters officiating. The burial followed at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Active pallbearers were Donald Pratt, Richard Woodruff, Mike Crowe, Dusty Crowe, Bobby Adams, Stanley Walker, James Pagan and Bob Redden. Honorary pallbearers were the men of Faith Baptist Church and men of Tulot community.

Those wishing to leave lasting memorials in memory of Mrs. Medley are asked to donate to the Faith Baptist Church at Tulot.
