Mrs. Cook was born on September 1, 1910, in Humboldt, Tenn. She had lived in Trumann before moving to Michigan in 1950, moved back to Trumann in 1974 and then back to Michigan in 1994 after the death of her husband. Mrs. Cook was a retired hospital worker and of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Cook in 1993; seven brother and sisters and was the daughter of the late Sam and Alice Maude England Collins.
Survivors include three sons, James T. Wicker of South Lyon, Mich., Bob Cook of Belleville, Mich., and Danny Cook of Westland, Mich.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 11, 2003, in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Miles Evans officiating. The burial followed at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro.
Pallbearers were Gerald Hunt, Jerry Hunt, Bill Cook and Kurt Wicker.
