Eric Franklin Watts

Mr. Eric Franklin Watts, 38, of Cherokee Village, Ark., passed September 9, due to injuries he received in a motorcycle accident.

Mr. Watts was born in Trumann and had lived in Cherokee Village for the past four years. He was a truck driver, 1983 graduate of Huttig High School and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Walter Watts and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Clara Phelps Brown.

Mr. Watts is survived by his wife, Terri Watts of the home; four daughters, Ms. Brittany Midkiff, Ms. Erica Watts, Ms. Haleigh Watts all of Cherokee Village, Ms. Jade Watts of Junction City, Ark.; three sons, Jerod Watts and Christian Watts both of Cherokee Village and Zayne Watts of Junction City, Ark.; one step-daughter, Courtnee Byerly of Trumann; one step-son Zac Byerly of Trumann; parents, Albert "Al" and Joyce Watts of Cherokee Village; two sisters, Mrs. Vicki Watts of Cherokee Village and Mrs. Melissa Hayes of Junction City, Ark.; one brother, Ricky Watts of Junction City, Ark.; grandmother, Mrs. Estelle Watts of Ash Flat, Ark.; and two grandchildren

Graveside services were held on Friday, September 12, 2003, at Pine Hill in Jonesboro with Bro. Marty Russell officiating. The burial followed at Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Active pallbearers were Jerry Joe Luna, Tony Heard, Allen Turney, Andy Mulkey, Wayne Pumphrey and Doniie Baker. Honorary pallbearers were Bo Midkiff, Chad Rhodes, Caitlin Rhodes, Cody Reece, Katie Reece, Bailee Reece, Mandy Watts and Derick Watts.
