Mary Barnes

Mrs. Mary M Barnes, 88, of Trumann, passed away October 14, 2003, at her residence due to natural causes.

Mrs. Barnes was born in Harrisburg, Ark., and a lifetime resident of the Harrisburg and Trumann areas. Mrs. Barnes was a homemaker and a member of the Landmark Worship Center in Trumann.

Mrs. Barnes is survived by two sons, Jerry Barnes of Cave City, Ark., and Johnny Barnes of Trumann; eight daughters, Mrs. Martha Rhoads, Mrs. Betty Crouch, Mrs. Wanda Halsey, Mrs. Kay Rodgers, Mrs. Frances Battles and Mrs. Molly Rasdon all of Trumann, Mrs. Lola Lesley of Paragould, Ark., Mrs. Sue Carter of Elkhart, Ind.; 41 grandchildren, 82 great-grandchildren and 31 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Landmark Worship Center in Trumann with Rev. Bobby Russell officiating. The burial followed at Shiloh Cemetery Harrisburg, Ark.

Pallbearers were Edward Pierce, Bo Barnes, George Smith, Shawn Barnes, Jessie Lively, Terry Dale Rasdon, Jimmy Pierce, Ronnie Lesley, Jimmy Wayne Carter, Floyd Kenneth Carter Jr., Zack Battles, David Lesley, Tommy Rasdon and Ricky Lard.
