Mrs. Bushong was born in Harrisburg and was a lifetime resident of Trumann. She was a retired nurse's aide and of the Pentecostal faith.
Mrs. Bushong is survived by three daughters, Mary Jane Taylor of Jonesboro, Shirley Mae Dye of Trumann, Molly S. Coffman of Kansas City, Mo.; three sons, Jimmy Wayne Bushong and Earl Bushong, both of Bono, William Lewis Bushong of Nashville, Tenn.; one sister, Pearlie Mae Simmons of Fort Smith, Ark.; 24 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bushong were held Friday morning in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Dr. Jim Shaw and Ronnie Dye officiating and the burial followed at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro.
Active pallbearers were Jimmy W. Bushong, Jr., Scott Moore, Scottie Bushong, Jesse Dale Coffman, Jeremy McLaughlin, John McLaughlin, Christopher Keith and Bradley Hoyer. Brandon Smith was an honorary pallbearer.
