Mrs. Cleffie Mae "Tip" Copeland of Trumann passed away October 29, 2003, at St. Bernard's Medical Center. She was 79 years old.

Mrs. Copland has lived in the Trumann area most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Copeland whom died in 1978, and her father and mother.

Mrs. Copeland is survived by five sons, Chris Copeland of Little Rock, Barry Copeland of Jonesboro, Don Copeland of Ypsi, Mich.., Jim Copeland and J.R. Copeland, both of Jonesboro; one daughter, Sue Byrd of Trumann; three brothers, Mildred Hudspeth, of Lafe, Harvey Hudspeth, Evening Shade and Forrest Hudspeth of Ocala, Fla.; two sisters, Bevie Reeves and Verda McMasters, both of Lunsford; and 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cleffie were held Wednesday, at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Cecil Adams. The burial followed at Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Anyone wishing to leave a memorial is asked to consider the Elm Grove Baptist Church building fund.
