Mr. Crouch was born in Senath, Mo., and had lived in Trumann since 1944. He was a security guard for Securities, Inc. and formerly an employee of the Singer Company in Trumann and Sanyo Manufacturing in Forrest City. He was a member of the Trumann Masonic Lodge #693, 32nd degree Scottish Rite, member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Peasant Valley Baptist Church.
Mr. Crouch is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Jo Barnes Crouch of the home; and two sisters, Mrs. Margie Ashley and Mrs. Shirley Kirksey both of Trumann.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with the Rev. Frank Bufford officiating. A Masonic Graveside service was held at the burial site at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Zach Battles, Dewayne Black, Orvil Halsey, Edward Pierce, Jimmy Pierce, Terry D. Rasdon, Terry L. Rasdon, Thomas Rasdon and George Smith. Honorary pallbearers were the members of the Trumann Masonic Lodge #623.
