Jimmy Flynn Moye, 56 of Searcy, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, in Shreveport, La.

He was born April 11, 1947 in Trumann, to Harold Edward and Helen Hollingshead Moye. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was also an accomplished criminal investigative detective and chief deputy during the 1980's. At the time of his death he was the owner and president of Moye Bail Bond Company. He was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Trumann.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Moye; three sons, Jeff Moye of Olive Branch, Miss., Chris Haugen of Conway and Kyle Haugen of Searcy; a daughter, Kim Dix of Searcy; his mother, Helen Holingshead of Trumann; a sister, Glenda Hinds of Trumann; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003, at the Searcy Church of the Nazarene. Interment was at Oakgrove Cemetery.
