Paul Craig, 78, of Trumann died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003 at Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City.

Born at Mountain View, he lived in Trumann for the last 55 years. He was a retired farmer, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Melton Avenue Church of Christ at Trumann.

Survivors include his wife, Edith McIntire Craig of the home; three daughters, Patricia Gottfried and Carol Pillow, both of Trumann, and Karen Livesay of Jonesboro; two sons, Larry Craig of Trumann and Gary Craig of Jonesboro; two sisters, Opal Perrin of Pocahontas and Betty Vowel of Springdale; six brothers, Mart Craig of Jonesboro, Leroy Craig of Pineville, Mo., Carl Craig of Centerville, Truman Craig of Bella Vista, Paul J. Craig of Pocahontas and Lavell Craig of Ocala, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Charlotte Benson;, his parents; and two brothers.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 4, in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home at Trumann with Nolan Glover and Ronnie Benson officiating. Burial followed in Holly Springs Cemetery at Harrisburg.

Pallbearers were David Benson, Corey Gottfried, Cris Battles, Jason Craig, Justin Craig and Phillip Criswell.
