Margie Udell Matthews, 90, long-time resident of Trumann, died Dec. 13, 2003 in Memphis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dexter Matthews.

She is survived by three sons, Joe C. Matthews, Jack Matthews and W. D. Matthews, all of Memphis; three daughters, Thelma Williams, Lela Jenkins and Lucy Rutherford, all of Memphis; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, at Northridge/Woodhaven Funeral Chapel and Cemetery. Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Northridge/Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington, Tenn., with burial following in Northridge/Woodhaven Cemetery.
