Thomas Jefferson Hatcher

Thomas Jefferson "Pop" Hatcher, 74, of Paragould died Saturday, Dec. 20, at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould.

Born at Osceola, he lived most of his life in the Trumann area before moving to Paragould four years ago. He was retired from the Singer Co. of Trumann and was a member of the Black Oak Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Morris D. Hatcher of Paragould and Dale E. Hatcher of Jonesboro; one sister, Doty Gould of Lepanto; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Delilah Hatcher; one great-granddaughter; his parents, Ross and Jennie Hatcher; six sisters; and five brothers.

Graveside services were Tuesday, Dec. 23 at the Marked Tree Cemetery, with the Rev. James Ward officiating. Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann is in charge of arrangements.
