Funeral services for Daisy Mae Parker, 83, of Trumann, who died Wednesday, Dec. 24, at Regional Medical Center of NEA, were Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home.

The Rev. Frank Bufford officiated, and burial followed in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Born in Grubbs, she had lived in Trumann for 62 years, was a retired cook and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Martha Parker of Trumann; and two sisters, Estelle Veteto of Fresno, Calif., and Shirley Schmeisser of Memphis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Parker, her parents and one sister.
