Born in Harrisburg, he had lived in Trumann and Harrisburg all his life. A retired millwright from the Singer Co., he was an Army veteran who served in World War II. He was a member of County Line Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Rickie Hill of Harrisburg and Randie Hill of Trumann; one brother, Chall Hill of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, Jon Hill, Brandie Hill and Ricky Hill; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise O. Hill, one brother and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery, with Allen Ashlock officiating. Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann was in charge of arrangements.
