Pauline Florence Tippitt, 88 of Rector, died Dec. 30 at Rector Healthcare.

She was a member of the Post Oak Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Leon and Rosa Strait Henry; her husband, Clarence Columbus Tippit; two sons, Ira Tippitt and Don O'Dell; two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by three sons, Richard Leon Tippit of Piggott, Coma Lee Tippitt of Jonesboro and Hubert Glen Tippitt of Rector; two daughters, Melba Bilyea of Warrenton, Miss., and Irene Roffe of Oklahoma City; 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Thursday, Jan. 1, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Brother Owen Little officiating. Burial followed at Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro. Active pallbearers were her grandsons.
