Glenda Jean Daniel

Glenda Jean Daniel, 68, of Trumann died Tuesday, Jan. 6, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

Born at Trumann, she was a lifelong resident of Trumann. She was retired from the Singer Co. and was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include her husband, J.D. Daniel of the home; two sons, Billy Ellison of Chocowinity, N.C., and David Clover of Trumann; a sister, Linda Kelleghan of Brookland; four brothers, Russell Cromwell of Bay, Leroy Cromwell and Jim Cromwell, both of Trumann, and Gerald Cromwell of Hurricane Mills, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Billy Dewayne Ellison Jr., Dewayne Lee Ellison, Heather Lynn Ellison and Kyle Andrew Clover; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pinson Louie and Nellie Ann Metcalf Cromwell; a daughter, Christine Ellison; and one brother, Donald Cromwell.

Funeral services Thursday, Jan. 8, in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann, with the Rev. Ricky Dobbins officiating. Burial followed in Bolivar Cemetery at Harrisburg.

Barry Gibson, Lester Bradford, Arron Hellenthal, Brandon Hellenthal, Vernon Winters and J.D. Cox will served as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers included Carl Counce and Clarence Midlin.
