Charles Clifford Holt, 75, died Jan. 25, at Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway of natural causes.

Holt was born in Batesville and lived in Trumann most of his life before moving to Greers Ferry 12 years ago. He was retired from the Singer Company in Trumann and a member of the Freer Baptist church.

Holt was survived by his wife, Mrs. Hazel Holt of the home; two sons, Leslie Wayne Holt of Greers Ferry and Terry Clifford Holt of Greers Ferry; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Holt was preceded in death by one son, Larry Holt; one grandson, Jarred McClung; and three sisters, Martha Ward, Icie Brooks, and Veneda McMullen.

Holt was the son of the late Charlie and Vergie Terrell Holt.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann with Rev. R.W. Goodman and Rev. Leland Warlow officiating. A graveside service followed at 2:30 p.m. at Cross Roads Cemetery in Greers Ferry.
