Luella Hunt Mills, 82, of Harrisburg died Saturday, Jan. 24, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church at Harrisburg.

Survivors include two sons, Edmond Mills and Larry Mills, both of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren, Venesa Burnett, Lillian Capps and Gerald Farley, all of Harrisburg, Millie Walton of Marked Tree, Eddie Mills of Lepanto, Peggy Neal of Muenster, Texas, and Heather Wooten of Jonesboro; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, G.W. Mills; her parents, John "Newt" and Lula Mae Clifton Hunt; and one brother.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 27, at First Baptist Church in Harrisburg, with the Rev. Jerry Kausler officiating. Burial followed in Shiloh Cemetery near Harrisburg under the direction of Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home.

Poinsett County Sheriff deputies served as pallbearers.
