Glenda J. Murphy, 66, of Cloma, Mich., died at her home, after a long battle with cancer surrounded by her family on Dec. 31, 2003.

Funeral services were Jan. 5 at the Davison Chapel of Florin Funeral Services, Cloma.

Burial followed the service at North Shore Memory Gardens, Hagar Shores, Mich.

Memorials may be made to South Haven Area Hospice or Berrien County Cancer Service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronnie and Alice Corgan Leggett; her first husband, Carl Adams, and her second husband, James Murphy.

She is survived by four sons; Lonnie (Margaret) Adams of Asheville, N.C., Stewart Adams of Sawyer, Mich., Jerry (Chasity) Adams, of Cloma; three daughters, Joanne McConnell and Alice (Dave) Wiencoff, both of Cloma, and Dora Adams of Benton Harbor, Mich.; one brother, Wayne Leggett of Trumann; one sister, Elizabeth Leggett of Arlington, Va.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
