Paul Walker Hollis

Paul Walker Hollis, 84, of Trumann died Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Regional Medical Center of NEA.

Born in Lake City, he had lived in Trumann for 50 years and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired salesman, a Methodist and a member of Trumann Masonic Lodge No. 693 and the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian Hollis of the home; a daughter, Patricia Ann Marler of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; three grandsons, John Marler, Bob Marler and Adrian Abell; and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sarah Walker Hollis; a daughter, Karen Kay Bossart; and two brothers.

Funeral were Saturday, Feb. 21, in the chapel of Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro, with the Rev. Donald Vuncannon officiating. Burial followed in Nettleton Cemetery.
