He lived most of his life in the Jonesboro area, and for 12 years he lived in New York and Kansas. He was a master electrician and member of the Alsup Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Hadicke of Emporia, Kan.; three sons, Larry Wayne Morgan Jr. of Topeka, Kan., Hansel "Hank" Wade Morgan of Garden City, Kan., and James David Morgan of Crystal River, Fla.; one brother, Jim Morgan of Bay; one sister, Jessie Stark of Jonesboro; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hansel and Zina Mae Morgan.
Graveside services were Monday, March 1, at Nettleton Cemetery, with Leon Minick and Wade Stark officiating.
Pallbearers were Robert Worthington, Phillip Fliming, Jim Morphew, Mike Looney, Jerry Birdsong and David Skaggs.
