He was a World War II veteran, had worked for Arkansas Power and Light and was of the Church of Christ belief.
Survivors include his wife, Flora Jean Dunlap of Marked Tree; four sons, Tommy Doss Dunlap and Jim G. Dunlap, both of Marked Tree, Dale Dunlap of Lepanto and Chet Dunlap of Jonesboro; one daughter, Barbara Westbrook of Wynne; a sister, Vivian Howard of Santa Paula, Calif.; a brother, Blair Dunlap of Yellville; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, March 4 in Murphy Funeral Home chapel in Marked Tree, with the Rev. Joe Sparks officiating. Burial followed in Marked Tree Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Phillip Brunner, David Morgan, Randall Burcham, Ben Sexton, G.C. Shortnacy and Parker Dunlap.
Honorary pallbearers were be Jesse McCrary, Billy Hunt and Roger Williams.
