Mary Frances "Frankie" Underwood, 79, of Trumann died Tuesday, March 2, at Trumann Health and Rehab in Trumann.

Born in Marianna, she had lived in Trumann for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of First General Baptist Church near Trumann.

Survivors include a son, Joseph F. Underwood of Trumann; two granddaughters, Courtney Osment of Trumann and Heather Underwood of Jonesboro; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Otto "J.O." and Nannie Williams Sheets, and two sisters.

Funeral services were Friday, March 5, in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann, with Dr. Tad Rogers officiating. A private burial followed in Oaklawn Cemetery at Jonesboro.

Active pallbearers were Gary Wallace, Mike McGlaughlin, Matt Miller, Rob Talbot, Blake Goodman and Shane Glenn.

Honorary pallbearers were Herman Robertson, Fred "Buck" Stacy, Doyle Clem, Eddie Wayne Clem, Dub Rhoades and Wayne Gairhan.
