Funeral services for Violet Cornelia Benson, 82, of Lunsford, who died Sunday, March 7, at her residence, have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God in Trumann.

The Rev. Kenneth Doke will officiate, and burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

She lived at Lunsford all her life and worked as a machinist for Singer Mfg. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Trumann.

Survivors include three sons, Bob Walker of Lunsford, Gary Walker of Jonesboro and Larry Don Walker of Carencro, La.; six grandchildren, Rick Walker of Gold Bar, Wash., Doug Walker of Mountlake Terrace, Wash., Ashley Walker of Kansas City, Mo., William Walker of Jonesboro, Paul Walker of Collierville, Tenn., and Allison Walker Broussard of Carencro; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, O.B. and Cora Jean Massey McMasters.

Visitation is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
