Born in Herman, he was a lifetime resident of Trumann. He was an assembly worker for Hytrol Conveyor of Jonesboro and was a member of the Elm Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie Wilson Williams of Trumann; two daughters, Brenda Glover of Lake City and Pam Harmon of Trumann; four sons, Harold "Jim" Williams, Terry Williams and Ricky Williams, all of Trumann, and W.R. "Bill" Williams of Jonesboro; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Arthur and Florida Perkins Williams, two sisters and three brothers.
Graveside services were Sunday, March 21, in Pine Log Cemetery at Brookland, with Jim Williams officiating.
Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann was in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers were Gary Puryear, Darren Glover, Daryl Dunahoo, Daniel Harmon, Booker T. Lloyd and Jim Passmore.
Kenny Williams served as honorary pallbearer.
