The Rev. Gary Brown and Mark A. Weston officiated, and burial followed in Pine Hill Cemetery at Jonesboro.
Active pallbearers were Mike Denton, Shawn Merrell, Chris Isom, Keith Heckman, Phillip Fleming and Frank Ray.
Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Moss, Tom Fagan, Johnny Rorex, Grady McGweir, Ronnie Harrington and Joe Fore.
Born in Joiner, he was a lifelong resident of Poinsett County and an Army veteran, having served in Korea and Germany. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and mechanic and a member of Providence Baptist Church in Trumann.
Survivors include four sons, Bob Hatcher of Trumann, Barry Hatcher and Mike Davis, both of Harrisburg, and Donnie Hatcher of Jonesboro; a daughter, Connie Hatcher of Harrisburg; a sister, Lura Banks of Trumann; five grandchildren, Krystal Deanne Hunt, Dareth Amber Hatcher, Jeffrey Kyle Hatcher, Dylan Cole Hatcher and Lauren Elizabeth Hatcher; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Marie Hancock Davis; his parents, Audie Arthur Davis and Pernie Beulah Underwood Davis; and one sister.
