She was born in Possum Trot, Tenn., and had lived in Trimble for the past three years. She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Hood and her parents, Lixery and Dessie M. Smith Ashley.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Montgomery of Panama, Okla.; four sons, Chester Davis of Newbern, Tenn., Clydell Davis and Charlie Davis both of Tezevant, Tenn., and David Davis of Trumann; Mary Jane Mullins of Elbridge, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Dr. Tad Rogers officiated graveside services on Wednesday, March 24, at Jonesboro Memorial Park. Thompson's Funeral Home was in charge of services.
