Born in Hazen, she had lived in Trumann for the past seven years. She was a homemaker and a member of Order of Eastern Star, Hazen Study Club and First United Methodist Church in Hazen.
Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth McClung of Trumann and Mary Davenport of Memphis; a sister, Lynne Toll of Tollville; eight grandchildren, Beth Nunnally, Sue Ellen Lloyd, Charlotte Holt, Randy McClung, Gary McClung, Alan McClung, Mike Davenport and Bob Davenport; 14 great-grandchildren; Gan Nunnally, Will Nunnally, LaDonna Becerra, Wesley Moon, Erric Holt, Scarlet Holt, James McClung, Ami Henderson, Wade McClung, Clay McClung, Mallory McClung, Amber McClung, Brandi McClung, and Noah McClung, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Bowman, her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were Saturday, April 3 at Hazen United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Glen Harris officiating. Burial followed in the Hazen Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
Her grandsons served as pallbearers.
