Born in Bradford, he was a farmer and a member of Anderson Tulley Baptist Church in Weona.
Survivors include four brothers, Carl Waters of Pheonix, Charles Tunney and Leon Waters, both of Harrisburg, and Berry W. Waters of Trumann; and three sisters, Jewell King of Trumann and Marie Sloan and Bonnie Hillis, both of Harrisburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
Funeral services were Saturday, April 17, at Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home chapel. William Whitlock officiated, and burial followed in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery.
Active pallbearers included Eddie Wray, Larry Wray, Justin Wray, Shelton Wray, Stephen Wray and Jerry Ming.
Honorary pallbearers were James Ed Wray, Jamie Wray, Miles Collier, Bud Anderson, Wayne Tillery, Donnie Stacey, Brandon Roark, Ronnie Sparks and Charles Harris.
