Joe F. Massey, 84, of Mountain View died Saturday, April 24, at Stone County Medical Center.

Born at Landis, he was carpenter and a World War II veteran.

Survivors include two sisters, Hazel Harness of Trumann and Iria Sisk of Dallas, Ga.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna J. Massey; his parents; five brothers; and eight sisters.

Funeral services were Monday, April 26 at Roller-Crouch chapel at Mountain View, with Edward Richardson officiating. Burial followed in Levisy Flat Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Patrick Sisk, Dwight Sutterfield, Jerry Massey, Phil Dearien, Eddie Cowell and Johnny Thomas.

Honorary pallbearers included David Dodson, Gerald Ivy, Eddie Taylor and James Dodson.
