Funeral services for Vernon Ladell Owens Sr., 72, of Trumann, who died Thursday, May 13, at Regional Medical Center of NEA in Jonesboro, were Sunday, May 16 at the McCormick Baptist Church near Trumann, with the Rev. Jim Frazier and Rev. Rick Kimery officiating.

Burial followed in Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.

Active pallbearers were Stephen Martin, Aaron Rich-ardson, Michael Spurbeck, Jason Martin, Nicholas Owens, Danny Owens, Donnie Guffey and Raymond Guffey.

Honorary pallbearers were the men of McCormick Baptist Church.
