Funeral services for John R. Lowery, 51, of Trumann, who died Friday, May 21, at his home, were Tuesday, May 25 at the University Baptist Church, with the Rev. Paul Hale officiating. Burial followed in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.

Pallbearers were John P. Lowery, Andrew R. Lowery, Tim Cullin, Fred Burrow, Ralph Cook Sr., Ralph Cook Jr., Michael Adams and Bill Watson.

Honorary pallbearers were Butch Ellison, Jimmy Davis, Larry Norman, Raymond Graves, Charles Bowie, J.R. Davis, Jason Mahan and Don Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Lowery of the home, and two sons, Andrew Lowery of Bentonville and John Paul Lowery of Trumann.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one sister.
