Violet T. Coke

Violet T. Coke, 83, of Harrisburg died Saturday, May 22, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Poughkeepsie, she was formerly of Harrisburg and had lived in Trumann for the past four years. She was a homemaker and member of the Viva Drive Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Hubert "H. C." Coke of the home; one son, Bobby Coke of Harrisburg; two daughters, Melba Coke of Trumann and Barbara Rhoads of Marion; two brothers, Olden Huckabee of Smithville and Lloyd Huckabee of Poughkeepsie; two sisters, Vera Hatfield of Gainesville and Wanda Lee Lasley of Cave City; four grandchildren, Tony Coke, Chris Coke, Terri McCullough and Brian Rhoads; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Huckabee and Bamma Watkins Huckabee, two sisters and one grandson

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 24 at Thompson Funeral Home chapel in Trumann, with Joe Spangler officiating. A graveside service followed at 3 p.m. at Parsley Cemetery near Calamine.

Pallbearers were Chris Coke, Tony Coke, Brian Rhoads, Tommy Rhoads, Jackie Winningham and Doug Winningham
