She was born on January 24, 1943 in Jonesboro. She was of the Baptist belief and had lived most of her life in Jonesboro.
She was a former employee of Crane Company and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Lydia Sue Groves and one brother.
She is survived by five sons Lester Groves, Leonard Barnes, William S. Floyd, Jessie Toney D. Floyd and J. Neal Floyd all of Jonesboro; one daughter, Judy Darby of Jonesboro; three brothers, Doyle Yearta, Tony Yearta and Clayton Browning all of Jonesboro; four sisters, Brenda Baskin of Brighton, Tenn., Rachel Estees of Tuckerman, L. Rose Bobbitt of Trumann and Geraldine Bearce of Jonesboro; 32 grandchildren and 23 grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, June 15 at Roller Farmers Union Chapel with J.C. McAnally. Burial followed at Nettleton Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Harry Darby, David Hicks, Marty Baskin, Dennis Timms, Doug Davis and Jonathan Asley.
