Born in Luxora, he lived in Blytheville before moving to Trumann 22 years ago. He was a mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Carlin Deason of the home; two sons, Robert "Robbie" Deason Jr. of Trumann and Charles "Andy" Deason of Harrisburg; a daughter, Heather Havard of Jonesboro; a stepson, Brandon Martin of the home; two sisters, Diane Deason and Barbara Deason, both of Tennessee; three brothers, Kenneth Deason, Douglas Deason and Steve Deason, all of Tennessee; and four grandchildren, Braden James Jackson, Shannon Lucas Jackson, Hannah Ray Ann Deason and Deyonna Varie Deason.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Virginia Mae Deason.
Funeral services were Thursday, June 10 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
Burial followed in Holly Springs Cemetery at Harrisburg.
