David Earl Delong of Marked Tree passed away on June 13 at the family residence of natural causes.

He was born in O'Neill, Nebraska and had lived in Marked Tree for the past three years and was formerly of Harrisburg. He was a general laborer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl DeLong.

He is survived by a son, Matthew Carter DeLong of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; his mother, Ruth Carter DeLong of Trumann; two sisters, Darlene Kostyniak of Lake Villa, Ill. and Marion Clark of Addison, Ill. and three brothers, Charles DeLong of Trumann, Merle DeLong of Chicago and Cleo John DeLong of Park Ridge, Ill.

Burial is private and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Chicago.
