Bertha Walls, 89, of Trumann passed away on Saturday, July 3 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro of natural causes.

She was born in Lunsford and was a lifetime resident of Trumann. She was a housewife and of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Walls; one son, Billy Smith; two sisters; five brothers and her parents, Ed and Ethel Cartt Richardson.

She is survived by her son, Freddie Lee Walls of Trumann; two sisters, Anna Mae Russell and Lucille Ragsdale of Trumann; three grandchildren, Sue Smith, Loren Smith and Jeanette Smith and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday, July 5 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Rank Hardwick officiating. Burial followed at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland.
