She was born in Monette and had lived in Trumann for the past 47 years, formerly of Lake City. She was a housewife and member of the Church of God of Prophecy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Jewel and Annis Viola Prichard Berry.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Cleo Riley of the home; three daughters, Rhonda Richardson, Brenda Riley and Sandra Young, all of Trumann; three sisters, Louise Headrick of Bay, Ann "Shorty" Penter of Trumann and Kay Martin of Jonesboro; eight grandchildren, Andrea Shuburte, Jermey Riley, Terry Burgess, Jr., Brandon Burgess, Nikki Stinson, Michael Richard Clark, Mathew Young and Jacob Fagan; 5 great-grandchildren, Kimberly Marshall, Zackery Gann, Jermey C. Riley, Jr., Catlyn Riley and Dawson Riley Shuburte; two stepsisters and two step brothers.
Funeral servies were Wednesday, June 14 in the chapel of Thomspon Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Gary Barker officiating. Burial followed at Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg.
Pallbearers were Jackie Richardson, Jody Thomas, Harold "Junior" Adams, William Cobb, Thomas Ealey, Robert L. Dowdy, Carl Floyd and David Dowdy.
