She was born in Imboden and had lived at Payneway for many years before moving to Jonesboro in the early 1990's. She worked at Singer for several years and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Jonesboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Young and one son, Clinton Eugene Davidson.
She is survived by one son, Robert H. Davidson of Jonesboro; four daughters, Phyllis Marie Muniz of Phoenix, Ariz., Leviathan Cotton and Carolyn Cotton, both of Hot Springs and Teresa A. Davidson-Packard of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Bob Benson of Memphis and Carl Lee Benson of St. Louis; one sister, Tracy Phillips of Memphis; 20 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, July 20 at First Assembly of God Church in Jonesboro with Rev. Mike Glover, Rev. Carl Anderson and Rev. Terry Watson officiating.
Burial followed in Harrisburg memorial Park with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers included Stan Watson, Jeff Watson, Darren Davidson, Scotty Collins, Colby Cotton and Shane Cotton.
