Mr. Halfacre was born in and a lifetime resident of Trumann. He was a retired factory worker, veteran of the US Army, member of the American Legion and of the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Jean Halfacre; one sister; one brother and his parents, Tim Halfacre, Sr. and Hodie Belle Osment Halfacre.
He is survived by two daughters, Debbie Halfacre Moore of Trumann and Barbara Halfacre Wagner of Jonesboro; three sons, Terry Halfacre and Tim Halfacre, both of Trumann and David Halfacre of Bay; three sisters, Maxine Mercer of Baton Rouge, La., Brenda Blagg of Trumann and Linda Harmon of Louisiana; 10 grandchildren, Steven Halfacre, Tera Halfacre Riga, Nicole Halfacre, Travis Halfacre, Joseph Halfacre, Kendra Halfacre Langston, Kwinn Halfacre, Joanne Moore Harvey, Weston Wagner and Mitchell Murphy and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, July 24 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Jane Dunn and Rev. Michael Tabor officiating. Burial followed at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro.
Active pallbearers were Mike Moore, Mark Fagan, James Halfacre, Delbert Reeves, Don Halfacre, Sr., Alan Linton, Travis Halfacre and Joe Halfacre. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Cook, Don Halfacre, Jr., Jesse Harvey, Joseph Halfacre, Weston Wagner and Walter Wagner.
