David Glenn Speakman

David Glenn Speakman, 67, of Trumann died Thursday, Aug. 5, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

He was a self-employed contractor and an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Arnold Speakman of the home; a daughter, Kimberly Dawn Flatt of Mount Clemens, Mich.; two stepdaughters, Cynthia Canales of Waxahachie, Texas, and Melissa Wells of Cleburne, Texas; a stepson, Timothy D. Smith of Azle, Texas; two sisters, Edith Ackerman and Marsha Speakman, both of Trumann; two brothers, Laymon Speakman of Harrisburg and Jerry Speakman of Trumann; two grandsons; and four stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, David Speakman II, his parents David and a brother.

Funeral services were Friday, August 6 at Thompson Funeral Home chapel in Trumann, with the Rev. Darrel Miller officiating. Burial followe in Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Active pallbearers were C.A. Jones, Thomas Curton, Harold Pankey, Bob Stotts, Kelly Webb and William Carter.

Cliff Richardson served as an honorary pallbearer.
