Born in Duck Hill, Miss., she had lived in Trumann for 50 years and was a retired elementary teacher at Trumann. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Ann Marler of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; five sisters, Lucille Phonka of Woodlawn, Ill., Lois Conner of Memphis, Ollivette Stock of Lakeview and Alice Collins and Betty Collins, both of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Andrew Taylor of Washington and Bark Taylor of Bald Knob; three grandchildren, John Marler of Hollywood, Calif., Bob Marler of Poplar Bluff and Adrian Abell of Victorville, Calif.; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hollis; a daughter, Karen Kay Bossart; two sisters; and two brothers.
Funeral services were Friday, August 13 in the chapel of Gregg Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Dr. Jim B. Shaw and Glenda Anderson officiating. Burial followed in Nettleton Cemetery.
The men of Maple Grove Baptist Church in Trumann served as pallbearers.
