Born at Scott's Hill, Tenn., she lived most of her life in Harrisburg and was an active member of the Shiloh Baptist Church near Harrisburg, where she had taught Sunday school. She was a retired custodial supervisor for the George Jackson Mental Health Center.
Survivors include four sons, Dale White and Dennis White, both of Harrisburg, Doyle White of Marion and Danny White of Desoto, Mo.; three sisters, Linda Jennings of Harrisburg, Rhonda Britnell of Heber Springs and Peggy King of Collierville, Tenn.; a brother, Herbert Goff of Harrisburg; 10 grandchildren, Denis White, Colissa Freeman, Jennifer Wilson, Justina Wilson, Jason White, Elizabeth White, Jessica White, Jayme White, Courtney Holmes and Adam Holmes; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Weston Funeral Service of Harrisburg, with the Rev. Frank Hillis and the Rev. Greg Leatherwood officiating. Burial followed at Farm Hill Cemetery near Harrisburg.
Active pallbearers were Stephen Jennings, Kyle Leatherwood, Denis White, Eric Cravens, Terry Pierce and Mike Griffin.
Honorary pallbearers included J.C. Smith, H.D. Morgan, Teddy Ford, P.W. Marshall, Danny White, Rodger Patterson, Kenny Wilson and Allen Oldman.
